Garage Equipments and Its Various Types

There are different types of equipment which are used in garages and are known as Garage Equipments. Some of the garage equipment include Wheel Alignment, Tire Changer, Wheel Balancer, Lifts, Gas Analyzer, Smoke Meter, AC Service Equipment, Test Lanes, Battery Charger, Nitrogen Inflators, Brake Equipment, Automatic Tire Inflators etc.

Wheel alignment is also known as tracking or breaking which help in the maintenance of automobiles and consists of wheel adjusting angles that are adjusted according to the specification of the car marker. These adjustments to the wheels are done to decrease the tire wear which also ensures the travel of the vehicle is true and straight and it does not pull to one side.

To achieve a specific handling feature the alignment angles can be changed beyond the specifications of the marker. The primary angles of the wheels are the angle of basic alignment of the wheels to the car’s body and to each other. The primary angles of wheels consist of adjustments of toe, caster and camber. The secondary angles consist of several other adjustments like Set Back, Frame Angle, Toe Curve Change, Wheelbase Difference etc.

Tire Changer Machine -- The machine which helps the tire technicians to mount and dismount tires with wheels of the automobiles is known as tire changer. After the tire and wheel assembly are eliminated from the automobile, the tire changer has all the parts necessary to replace and eliminate from the tire and the automobile’s wheel.
